About the Role:

As a Support worker, you will make a real difference in people's lives every day with a rewarding career. You will support individuals to live as independent lives as possible within their own homes. 

Daily responsibilities in this role include:

• Respect each client as an individual, tailoring care to their personal needs and preferences according to their care plan.
• Promote independence by supporting individuals to carry out activities, trips and days out of their choice. 
• Support clients with daily living activities including; washing, toileting, dressing and grooming.
• Support clients during mealtimes and ensure they have access to food and refreshments whenever they wish.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and their families through kindness, empathy, and compassion. 
• Work amicably with colleagues to ensure the client experiences person centred care.
