Agency Assistance began trading in February 1999 - initially as a Care Agency, supporting other care organisations, supplying staff into Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Residential Homes and Supported Living units throughout Devon and Somerset. We also provided staff to Marie Curie for end of life care as well as private clients. Our Supported Living journey began with our first unit opening in 2008, we now support over 75 people to live independently within the community, following the simple belief: everyone deserves a safe, supportive place to call home.
Today, we proudly provide multiple supported living homes for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health needs, and other complex care requirements. We are committed to providing stable, long-term homes where the people we support can feel safe, valued, and secure, giving families confidence and our dedicated staff the opportunity to build lasting relationships.
From the very beginning, our focus has been on helping each person live a fulfilling and independent life. By working closely with individuals, their families, and other professionals, we promote choice, dignity, inclusion, and meaningful opportunities to thrive as part of their local community.
